Andrew Warren holds nothing back in his latest ‘all gas, no brakes’ Thomas Caine adventure, Hunting Ground.
Caine is one of the most formidable tools in the CIA’s toolbox, carving, nailing, and cutting anything in the way of mission success. Working to defuse an explosive situation, Caine works methodically and surgically dodging bullets far from home. With a touch of finesse and some Ricky Carmichael flair, Caine does the impossible to prevent a massive firestorm.
Once back stateside, Caine is intent on slowing down and being present in girlfriend Rebecca Freeling’s life. With a nice vacation planned, all hell breaks loose in D.C. causing the death of someone close to Caine setting him on the warpath.
Traveling out west on a hunt for those responsible, Caine dives deeper into a darkness that leads to death and destruction, toeing the line on his own downfall.
Thomas Caine is a tremendous character that isn’t larger than life, but one that’s equipped with experience, top-notch training, and expert decision making. Warren navigates a complex web of deceit and destruction flawlessly, integrating real world issues that Caine and team must confront head on.
There’s no lack of action in Thomas Caine’s life and Warrens imagination doesn’t leave you asking for more as he sprinkles in just the right amount, along with plenty of intrigue to keep you turning pages throughout. I know a lot of books have that ‘It’ factor where it belongs on the big screen, but Warren continuously delivers vivid and compelling stories that would fit perfect as a major motion picture. Don’t miss Thomas Caine and the Hunting Ground!
