Tales From The Caribbean By Jack MacTavish

From there, the story takes off in directions that are nearly impossible to anticipate. As the plot unfolds, the connections between the characters and the constantly shifting adventure become increasingly intriguing, keeping the tension high and the questions coming. Jake's increasingly unbelievable circumstances remain compelling because, despite knowing this is fiction, the story makes it easy to become fully invested in what he has stumbled into. Each new revelation adds another piece to the puzzle, creating a gripping sense of anticipation as the seemingly disconnected threads begin to come together.

Jake can fall in shit and come out smelling like a rose. His IDGAF attitude somehow takes him from single and nearly destitute to politician, card shark, and even boy toy for a Russian spy. There really don't seem to be any boundaries to where his adventures will take him. Whether he's getting a tattoo, making deliveries of questionable value, or crashing a MiG-21, Jake handles it all with a smile, a little attitude, and a PBR.

Tales from the Caribbean is full of espionage, dark humor, danger, adventure, and characters who are morally complicated.  This book was an absolute blast, and readers will have a hell of a time riding along with Jake to see just how much trouble one man could possibly get himself into.
