Tension-filled and action-packed, Fire Fall is propulsive from beginning to end, pulling you relentlessly from one chapter to another. Brad Thor and Ward Larsen deliver another breathless, white-knuckle, cinematic thrill ride that grabs ahold and doesn’t let go.
Two American archeologists are on the hunt for a secret Japanese WWII base somewhere on the islands of Indonesia when they’re ambushed by armed men. However, the final pictures on the expedition’s blog post trigger an alert within US intelligence circles and raises concerns about the discovery of a long-lost bioweapon, rumored to have been developed through collaboration between the Japanese and German military. Dr. Sara Taylor and CIA operative Alex Ross are deployed to investigate and quickly find themselves embroiled in a global conspiracy headed by a powerful group hellbent on upending the world order. Now Dr. Taylor and Alex, along with the help of a few clandestine friends, must race to stop the dastardly plot from becoming reality, unleashing hell, killing millions, and bringing the world to its knees.
Thor and Larsen’s second collaboration results in another captivating story that contains strongly developed characters within a compelling plot that flies forward as the clock ticks down towards doomsday. It’s intense and entertaining, combining history with the present day by asking the question of what could happen if a long-lost experimental weapon is uncovered and deployed eight decades later using modern technology. And it’s just plausible enough to give you pause and invade your nightmares. Bringing you one step closer to believing in global cabals and conspiracy theories about what the rich and powerful might be plotting in a smoke-filled dark room somewhere.
