Riptide By Andrew Warren & Ross Sidor

Riptide is a fantastic collaboration between Andrew Warren and Ross Sidor as they take the action underwater in cinematic-crisp quality.

Before Thomas Caine was burned as a CIA operative, he was working as a paramilitary officer taking down bad actors around the globe. Riptide finds him on a globe-trotting hunt for an elusive mastermind who’s hellbent on using a cutting-edge piece of weaponry to take down naval targets in ways that can’t be easily defended against. Moving from the Philippines to the South China Sea, Caine goes up against pirates, terrorists, and nation-states both friendly and foe who wish to take this dangerous weaponry for their own selfish gains.

Riptide has some of the most fascinating and terrifying underwater action sequences that instill a sense of awe in the vast world that lives beneath us. Warren and Sidor bring high energy and high adrenaline as Thomas Caine fights bad guys on ground and underwater with vicious attacks and well-crafted action sequences that perfectly scratch that ever-lasting itch you may have to consume tactical and authentic action content.

Strap in for a pulse-pounding read that gets you from 0-100 in less time it’ll take you to read this review. Riptide is a must-read! If James Bond was American, he’d have been Thomas Caine.
